The Darrell Elmer Rodgers Trio is comprised of three Arizonans: Darrell Elmer Rodgers, Rick Heyman, and Michael Parker. The trio performs original folk-blues songs played on guitar and sung by songwriter Darrell Elmer Rodgers with Rick Heyman providing melodious Bass accompaniment and Michael Parker supplying the foundation rhythm on Drums.
They have been selected to perform at the Tucson Folk Festival, by competitive audition, in each of the past three years and hope to do so again in 2012.  Darrell Elmer Rodgers has performed across the country and all over Arizona, from Flagstaff to Green Valley, from Yuma to Red Mesa.
